Shipbuilding Gantry Crane

The shipbuilding gantry crane is a crane used in the place where ships are manufactured and in the dock. Its task is to transport all the parts (ribs, profiles, steel plates, etc.) needed to make the hull from the ground conveyor to the place where the ship is manufactured. This kind of transportation work must be able to complete the task quickly in a long transportation journey. Therefore, the determination of crane number is based on the principle that the whole dock's foundation area can be reached and each crane does not interfere with each other.

Now the general gantry crane with fixed position is a tower-type rotary crane with fixed props. The sports car runs on the lower edge of the horizontal extended arm. Because there are many cranes around the dock, the radius of rotation of the crane is determined on the condition that it can work in the whole shipbuilding area.
